Professional Microneedling Treatments

Microneedling is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve overall skin quality, texture and radiance by stimulating the skin’s natural collagen production.

Using advanced skin needling techniques combined with targeted professional serums including Salmon DNA (PDRN), Cliniccare and Lumi Pro Meso Therapy, treatments are tailored to your individual skin concerns and goals.

Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-channels within the skin, helping to stimulate renewal whilst allowing active ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin for enhanced results.

This treatment can help improve:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scarring
  • Enlarged pores
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Dull or dehydrated skin
  • Loss of firmness and elasticity
  • Stretch marks
  • Overall skin rejuvenation and glow

Microneedling is not just suitable for the face and can also be performed on multiple areas of the body including:

  • Neck
  • Décolletage
  • Hands
  • Abdomen
  • Stretch mark areas
  • Body scarring and skin texture concerns

At Claire Parker Aesthetics, a two-pass microneedling technique is performed for optimal skin stimulation and product infusion. Due to the advanced nature of treatment, you should expect your skin to appear red following your appointment, similar to mild sunburn. This is completely normal and usually settles significantly within a few hours, although mild redness may remain for up to 24–48 hours depending on skin sensitivity and treatment intensity.

Treatment plans can be fully personalised using different skin boosters and mesotherapy solutions to target hydration, radiance, skin repair and overall skin health.

Microneedling is a skin treatment that uses tiny sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping improve skin texture, acne scars, fine lines, pigmentation, and overall skin rejuvenation.

Most clients benefit from a course of 3–6 treatments spaced around 4–6 weeks apart. Acne scarring or deeper skin concerns may require additional sessions. Maintenance treatments are often recommended every few months but you can have one a month if you wanted.

Microneedling can help improve acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, stretch marks, uneven skin texture, and dull skin. It is also used to improve overall skin firmness and glow.

Many clients notice brighter and smoother skin within a week, but collagen production continues over several weeks. More significant improvements usually become visible after multiple treatments.

A full appointment usually takes around 45–90 minutes, depending on the treatment area and whether numbing cream is used. The actual needling process generally takes about 20–30 minutes.

Most clients experience mild discomfort rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is usually applied before treatment to make the procedure more comfortable. Clients often describe the sensation as light scratching or vibration on the skin.

The skin is usually red and slightly sensitive immediately after treatment, similar to mild sunburn. Some clients may experience tightness, dryness, or light flaking for a few days. Most redness settles within 24–72 hours.

Clients should avoid makeup for 24 hours, excessive sweating, swimming, saunas, sun exposure, exfoliating products, and active skincare ingredients such as retinol or acids until the skin has healed. SPF should be worn daily.

Microneedling may not be suitable for clients with active acne infections, cold sores, eczema flare-ups, psoriasis, open wounds, uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting disorders, or those using certain medications such as isotretinoin.

Yes. Microneedling is often combined with treatments such as LED therapy, chemical peels, skin boosters, or medical-grade skincare to enhance results. Treatment combinations should always be tailored to the client’s skin type and goals.
